Institute of Justice and Administration Professions
Preparing for the entrance exams for the legal and administrative professions is designed to help you succeed in your vocational projects. But nothing can replace the investment and personal motivation of the candidate. Success in a competition requires hard and continuous work. The student will have to demonstrate serious work, constant attention and flawless discipline. By joining our Institute, the student must adopt the behaviour of a future professional. This last aspect is fundamental, especially during the interviews with the admission juries where the candidate is a future professional.

Testimonies of our graduates
The multiple trainings for the CRFPA summary note (and their corrections) proposed by IMJA allow to acquire efficiently the methodology of this very particular test. The availability and proximity of the teaching team are also real assets with regard to the larger IEJ, where the student-teacher relationship is more impersonal. Finally, the training for the Great Oral exam as well as the training given throughout the year in English ensures a good guidance of the eligible students in their final stretch. Year 2018/2019
The switch to IEJ was very helpful in helping me pass the CRFPA exams. The refresher courses provide the latest news so as not to be taken aback on the day of the exam, and the closeness with the teachers allows us to ask questions and have meaningful discussions. Year 2018/2019
During my year of preparation at IMJA, I chose an "administrative" course to prepare myself as best I could for the entrance examination I was aiming to pass. I decided to take the exam for the Deputy Officer of the Technical and Administrative Support Corps of the National Gendarmerie. Following the success of the exam, I joined the Gendarmerie School of Rochefort in September 2018 for 6 months. My training is coming to an end soon. I am delighted with my choice and I plan to take the officer’s exam internally. The IMJA allowed me to prepare myself properly for the various tests I had to take during my exam, particularly the psycho-technical tests and the French tests.
I spent a year at IMJA, from 2017 to 2018, in order to prepare for the administration exams, and in particular the officer exams (maritime affairs, gas logistician). Having a Master’s degree in environmental management (ecology), I had little or no skills in administrative culture, law, and I was not at ease with the methodology of the entrance exams. My year at IMJA was very beneficial for me, since in addition to a refresher course or the acquisition of a solid base in administrative subjects, I had the opportunity to follow the lessons with other students from a wide variety of backgrounds. This heterogeneity of the courses and exams prepared was the crucible of a healthy emulation, and the cohesion developed made it possible to approach the different exams with serenity. The proximity with the teachers, whether from the university or from the civilian world, was a real plus. My time at IMJA was a real springboard for me, which enabled me to join the Essence Service of the Armed Forces as an officer.
The training provided at the IEJ in La Rochelle - now IMJA - allowed me to better prepare for the CRFPA entry exam despite the new reform. We benefited from courses in all the subjects of the exam, as well as numerous quality training sessions in each of the chosen subjects (social law, law of obligations, summary note, civil procedure, great oral and english). The investment of the teachers and their desire to help us succeed played an important role in giving us the motivation necessary to pass this exam. The personalised follow-up offered by the structure, and the great closeness with the teaching staff, are without doubt the great strength of this preparation. Thank you all, administration and teachers, for your precious help, which allows me today to study to be a lawyer within the ALIENOR Law School of Bordeaux.
During the same academic year 2016-2017, I wanted to enrol in a double registration at the University of La Rochelle: IEJ and Master’s Degree in Corporate Law. My objective: to prepare for the CRFPA entry exam and obtain a Master’s Degree 2. However, my schedule was very busy between the Master’s course, the final internship with the written report and the revisions necessary to prepare for the CRFPA. Nevertheless, I was able to count on the great availability of the pedagogical team of the IEJ of La Rochelle. It’s reassuring to quickly get the answers to all those little questions that one naturally asks oneself on the eve of an exam. I appreciated the practical advice, especially the advice given after the results of the written tests for the great oral exam. The teachers gave us several mock exam sessions for both the great oral and the language oral exams. These personalised training sessions in front of a jury or a teacher were a great support for me. This closeness with the teaching team is comforting, especially during this particularly stressful period. In 2017, I passed my entrance exam to the CRFPA and obtained my Master’s Degree 2: double objective achieved.
This year, you allowed me to do the CRFPA preparation at the IEJ in La Rochelle, in a way by correspondence, from Bordeaux. And I was admitted to the exam. The professors from La Rochelle were made themselves available, teaching me... I always received quick and precise answers to my questions, and I was able to work peacefully in Bordeaux, scan my papers, send them to the teachers, and receive them corrected. The ladies of the administration showed Olympic patience with my worries and I realize how lucky I was to be so well surrounded. I would therefore like to thank you for the quality of the course given by La Rochelle and to tell you that I have very good memories of my visits to rue François de Vaux de Folletier. Thanks again. I know what I owe to La Rochelle. I will never forget it.
