Research at the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Management
Research at the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Management is part of a disciplinary approach in public law, private law, history of law and political science, as well as multidisciplinary based on the main areas of research chosen by La Rochelle University, namely the environment, digital technology and tourism. It is based on a broad association of professionals and a strong support for the education course.
The EUCLID Doctoral school
PhD studies are open to students holding a Master’s 2 degree or equivalent degree who wish to prepare a thesis in one of the thirteen research laboratories that make up the EUCLID Doctoral school
The Doctoral school aims to follow legal and political science students enrolled in their thesis from their registration to their defense, but also to prepare their future through actions encouraging their professional insertion. To this end, compulsory PhD training is provided.
The EUCLID Doctoral School covers a wide range of disciplines, with some fifteen research teams from the Universities of Limoges, Poitiers and La Rochelle associated with it.
The latter are able to conduct research and award a PhD in the following fields:
- Management sciences
- Economics
- Sociology
- Demographics
- Geography
- Layout of the area
- Urbanism
- Anthropology
- Ethnology
- Science and techniques of physical activities and sports.
