Visit of the State Council by the students of the Master’s Degree 1 law and public action

As students of public law, visiting the State Conseil was an experience steeped in discoveries. Going to the places where important judgments were delivered fuelled the mythical character of such an institution. During the course of our day, we were able to walk through the magnificent corridors and rooms of the Council, to approach the people who work there and to attend a hearing. The persons we met during the visit (State Councillor, public magistrate) surprised us by their modesty and availability. They enabled us to gain a better understanding of the profession, to desecrate it and to learn about the existing possibilities for incorporating them. Many thanks to the Faculty of Law of La Rochelle for giving us the opportunity to discover, from the inside, the highest jurisdiction of the administrative order.
Thomas Saulnier
La Rochelle and Richelieu met. This time, it was the people of La Rochelle who went to him, for a much more pleasant encounter than the first. Beyond being able to illustrate the words that we learnt, this tour was an opportunity for a brief immersion in the daily life of the elite under the gilded roof of the Republic. An excellent experience.
